New destinations and larger long-haul offering

Edelweiss Virtual will reintroduce the destinations Colombo (Sri Lanka), Phuket and Havana into its program with the start of the winter flight schedule on October 31, 2021. The new vacation destinations Kilimanjaro and Zanzibar in Tanzania will be served for the first time from the beginning of October. Also at that time, Edelweiss Virtual will again fly to Cape Town in South Africa and to Mauritius. Edelweiss Virtual will also be able to fly to Muscat for the first time.

The proven Caribbean program with San José (Costa Rica), Punta Cana and Cancún is supplemented by Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic and Montego Bay in Jamaica. A new service will be added to Liberia in Costa Rica. In the Indian Ocean, the popular destinations Maldives and Seychelles remain a fixed part of Edelweiss Virtual’s flight program.

The range of services to and from Egypt will be expanded over the winter. Starting in December, Edelweiss Virtual will fly once a week to the historic city of Luxor on the east bank of the Nile. The beach holiday destinations of Marsa Alam and Sharm El Sheik will be served several times a week, and Hurghada daily.
