Edelweiss is taking over the aircraft with the registration HB-JLP from its sister company Swiss and will deploy it for short- and medium-haul flights from Zurich starting in the summer of 2024. The aircraft is just under 13 years old.
With the additional Airbus A320, Edelweiss will operate a fleet of 19 aircraft from Zurich next year, consisting of 14 Airbus A320s and five Airbus A340s.
